Who You Are Matters
Where do I come from?
I was born and raised in Orange County California. Although orange is in the name I surprisingly never see any oranges around.
Where I am going?
I have always dreamed of traveling the world. The places that I want to visit first are Spain and London.
How I plan to get there?
By plane 🛩. Fun fact I am actually scared of planes and of flying so those long flights will definitely be interesting. However, I saw a TikTok where someone explains that if you're ever experiencing turbulence on a plane to not be scared because you are basically in jelly.
How am I like my parents?
Like my mom I drive on the streets but refuse to drive on the freeway (I've been driving for over 4 years now). Like my mom I also have some pretty out there crazy ideas sometimes. I feel like my dad I am a very relaxed and chilled out person in general.
How I am unlike my parents?
Unlike my parents I am not married by the age of 21.
I feel like for the most part I set my expectations for myself. However I do acknowledge that I might sometimes be influenced by the factors around me.
I really admire Taylor Swift and have since I was a little girl. She serves as a model to me because I feel like she is very inspiring, true to herself and always manages to bounce back an achieve things even when some might not believe in her. I also really admire how she is just so good at everything artistic that she does.

The wild animal I feel a special connection with is a Canadian Lynx and a Ring-tailed lemur (King Julien from Madagascar). This is because like the Lynx I am more productive at night (the are also very cute I mean look at this one in the snow) and like a Lemur, well I just linked a video to show how I am like one.

A significant encounter with a plant happened when my mom showed me a lucky bamboo plant she had. I was young so when I heard her call it a witch plant I took that comment and ran with it. I asked her if I could have it and put it in my room because I believed it kept witches away. I still have that plant in my room till this day and its by far the only plant I've ever managed to keep alive so I guess it really is a lucky plant.

ReplyDeleteThe freeway is also my arch nemesis. I will chose the "avoid freeways" options on maps any time I get.
ReplyDeleteI am also used to being more of a passenger, unless I'm driving for hours through the backstreets at home, for fun. I also have a fear of flying but love traveling. Just this weekend I took a short flight and reminded my sister and I, "we are jello".

ReplyDeleteI love the lemur, when I first read that the lemur was your favorite animal I immediately thought of King Julien from Madagascar. That is also one of my favorite childhood movies!
